Chapter 1: The Birth of a Dream

A penguin walked down a long, sandy road. A burning wind of dust splashed into the face of the V.I.P. as he struggled to move down the road. This penguin was wrapped tightly in a tan papyrus paper, an orange cap to cover the deadly rays of the sun and wore sunglasses darker than the death of Darkpuma. His face was unseen, and his emotions were hidden by the heavy clothing he wore. Around his neck was a scarf; a scarf covered in pins. Each pin was the exact same shape, and the exact same size, but the design differed greatly on each. One was a whited out "B" on a light orange surface. Another was simply a blue T tiled in an a thick stroke of white, next to a blue bird filled with joy. Each was a symbol; a symbol of an accomplishment some have dreamed and died for. This penguin wore his accomplishments proudly around his neck, and each of them required a gifted talent.

He walked down the road slowly, but heroically. A storm has been blending up in the dark desert, and nobody has left their village in days. This penguin, this survivor, this legend, walked through the sand as if it was air. He pushed winds out of his path like a box beating up a nerd, and covered up his expression while doing so. The penguin had been walking for miles, and his story was a puzzle of complication. He did not stop for a break once, and continued to walk as if the desert wanted him to walk. The world seemed to stop all motion as he traveled miles for hours heading towards the center of the sandstorm.

As the penguin walked ahead, the question of why the world was made is in the mind of his followers. The penguin came to a stop, standing perfectly still while everything and everyone around him was rapidly dashing through the air. In front of him was a Triangle; a triangle that represented hope and future. Every second thousands of sandy, wind blasts rushed out of it, while shining in the desert sun. If one rush of wind touched any living creature, they would be burned to dust in seconds of time, but this penguin did not seem to feel the winds. He took a step further, reached his fin out, and the cap he wore flew into the dusty air.

A spike of orange appeared on his head, and he took a last step forward. He touched the triangle with the tip of his finger, and cracked the mystery open. It shattered into what seemed to be glass of some kind, and out came light of hope. This light was the future of penguin kind. This light was the new generation of love, hate and inspiration. This light was the day after tomorrow, and the day before the next generation of Club Penguin.

As the light of the bursted triangle covered the land into emptiness, a beam flew into the yellow sky. The beam was a rainbow of five colors; Orange, Purple, Green, Red and Blue. For a few seconds, the desert animals struggling for shelter watched as the beam twirled into the shape of the letter "L", and bursted into three letters that would soon change the snowy island forever.

SPLASH! A sudden splash of cold water was like a sun burn at the beach. The water floured down my once warm cheeks, and my mind seemed to be somewhere between reality and dreams. The deep darkness of my vision faded into light, life and laughter. In my face was a over excited, bubbly penguin with an IQ almost as large as a grain of sand. That penguin was Gapboy999, the nightmare of my reality.
In my eyes life was just a book which can be abandoned at any moment, but in Gap's eyes life was what he wanted at any second of time. He uses the resources around him to make his environment more happy and over hectic for a 13 year old like myself. Gap thought the world was only the things that involved him, and didn't know anything about places outside of Ice Palace nor even knowing other worlds existed. He was spoiled in joy by his teachers or authority figures, popularity from his friends and toys from his parents. Every morning to Gapboy was like Christmas, and life for me seemed to get old fast as the years of my childhood went on.

When someone splashes a cup of wet, cold water onto your face, it basically ruins any dream of escaping from the deadly real world. With little effort, I was able to push young Gap off the end of my bed and into a laundry basket full of orange dirty clothing. He cried for attention, and ran out of my room seeking our loving mother. It turned out that Gapboy splashed the water on my face simply because I almost slept in on my first day of living, breathing hell; aka Middle School.

I rolled off my bed like a dog listening to his master, and jumped to my cold feet. I flipped my orange messy hair to take out the cold liquid which was claimed to be water, and walked over to my mirror. With in 30 minutes I was able to fix my hair for a spike effect, wash my face and change into my favorite orange outfit. Once I realized school was almost in session, I slipped on my freshly bought sneakers and swiped the Ipod Touch off my desk. I casually waved to my mom and younger brother, walked out the door and into a world too real for anyone to love.

When a person takes a look at me, they give me a title that makes me want to sleep forever; they call me "The Cute Guy". It all started back in Kindergarten were I was as young and happy as ever. Like Gapboy, I thought everything that was anything happened in Ice Palace, and enjoyed watching hundreds of episodes of "Pengemon". That year was very strange for me, because I was one of the only two boys in the class. That means that the girls would dominate during all times of the day, and they would chose one favorite boy over the other.

Of course, they're favorite choice was me. The other boy was a lazy, overweight penguin who spent most of his free time eating his mom's "world famous" chocolate chip cookies. Every week his mom would make a fresh batch of 25 sweet cookies, and would lay them out on the back deck for her son and his "friends". Surprisingly after the first week of this tradition almost the entire neighborhood arrived on his deck, ready to munch down on the energy boosting snacks. However, most of them were only here to watch the 6 year old eat 25 cookies in a row, slurp creamy ice cream down his throat and drink around 17 drinks in a row. That penguin was rich when it came to bellyfat, and seemed to rule the world of food forever.

A lot has changed since the days of never ending cheerfulness on the back deck of what was once called a Food Court. Now, I realized being known only as "the Cute Guy" isn't such a great thing, and trapped my inner emotions from entering the real world. The girls and "Mr. Burger" turned me into something I never thought of being, and something I truly am not. Inside are locked up emotions waiting to escape from the center of my body as the main event at the Talent Show.

I took a turn at the nearest street, showing off my hair as the world spun. Up ahead was a place said to keep in criminals of the deadliest colors. A place for people to be labelled, and torn apart bit by bit. A place where the devil feeds on hatred and desperation. This place was titled "Penguin Academy: the Middle School for Everyone". Basically that means they'd invite in any hobo, alcoholic or even uneducated bus driver as a student of quote "a world of educational connections for people alike". How am I similar to a hobo? That answer haunts the living day lights out of my soul.
I took my first step into what seemed to be a black portal of doom. I looked around and observed every little detail in the place we call school. I noticed wallpapers advertising tryouts for the cheerleading team, showing off the football teams many medals and a cast photo of last year's chess team. As I stood, listening to the music that drives my ears wild, I watched the many faces walk by experiencing similar emotions to me. Penguins of all different backgrounds, colors and styles were here, and I was ready to leave my mark in the school forever.

A dark blue penguin wearing a white lab coat and heavy glasses handed me a schedule telling me what room to enter first. I followed him and a few other students to room "232" and waited for directions. The penguin asked us to take a seat anywhere, and I headed towards the nearest one. I quickly figured out that this wasn't just any homeroom, but a computer class. I took a seat in a perfectly squared area long with four other people in a center corner. The four of us waited for the directions, and drowned in the awkwardness of a first school day.

"Hello children. I am Mr. O'Macnallibaca, but ya'll can call me Gadget. I have worked at this school for nearly 30 years, and was a student here back in the day. Well ya, I get it. Y'all are scared out of your minds of old little me, and the entire school. Ya see, this ain't just a simple old Middle School, it's actually a fancy combination of Middle School and High School. I guess we thought it would be best to stuff you guys in with them bast... I mean older students."

The strange southern accent of Gadget was like listening to a cat hanging by it's tail. His tone went from low to squeaky, and talked in a sarcastic manner. I did not really know how to react to such a teacher, for I have only had the most kind teachers in my past. Gadget looked as if he was run over by a car five times, and put back together in ten minutes. His suit was tight, so tight the man could barely breathe. He taught me one thing out of all my future time at this school; never wear a tuxedo that tight ever.

As he mumbled on about his "marvelous" life, I took a look over to my new neighbor. His hair was dark. His gloves were dark. His eyes were dark. The guy looked as if he just walked out of a haunted movie, and taunted the audience with the pleasure of his creepy smile. On his shirt was a red flame, with a large "Q" in the center of it. The flames were as bloody as the anger in his eyes, and it seemed as if he was in the mood to play with terrible weapons. He was drawing a broken heart with a thunder bolt in front of the dusty keyboard, focusing on the deep details. The picture represented the world, universe and the meaning of life to him, which formed a respect in my soul for him. He knew what the world was, and he knew what he wanted from it.

A horrible gas destroyed the nostrils of my nose, and caused me to sneeze up what seemed to be my thoughts. I turned around, and noticed my "best friend" since that day in Kindergarten. He hadn't changed at all, and he seemed to have been the width of a bus. That terrible smell was coming from the wide, dark hole placed under his nose; his mouth. He laughed with a disgusting smirk, and seemed as if he was going to kill the chair he sat on. He waved to me as friendly as possible, and went back to googling local fast food restaurants.

"P... P... P... Eh... Polar Amigo?" Gadget yelled while almost losing his breath.

The mama's boy, cookie loving, burger eating, overweight teen raised his hand high, indicating he was here. I took a look around me, the world I would spend the next year in. In my mind I thought of the horrors ahead, the unborn battles and relationships that could last forever are all going to be in this school. I might meet my best friend for life, get into a bad brawl and fear the upper classmen. But I knew I could handle it, and I could handle the rest of the world as well. To me the world is like a big lemon, full of juicy tales inside.

A world of tortue, drama and gossip awaits me in the next 6 years of life, along with the classmates I sit with. Some of us will transfer schools. Some of us will get held back or sent to summer school. Some of us will get expelled and suspended. A few, selected group will make it all the way in Penguin Academy, all the way to the end. I plan to be one of those students no matter how strong I have to be, and I will survive. The good man's road isn't the only way to victory, and the bad man's road isn't the only bad way...

W-O-W!
Ya, that was pretty awesome. But ah guys... I don't really think Frost was refering "Gadget" to Obama, but to someone else and its REALLY obvious. You know that guy Gary the GADGET in all of the CP missions who helps you complete your course? Im pretty sure he was refering Gadget to him.
Also, I found A TON of secret messages in the dream. A reference to Blogger, Twitter, Legends of CP Chat and even the Black Eyed Peas meet me halfway music video! (the entire dream was VERY similiar to it, when frosty is walking towards the triange.)
